  5.   OpenSpool will be ported completely to SUN O.S. (4.1.1).
  6.   Consequently, OpenSpool will run even in homogeneous SUN (only)
  7.   environments using SPARCstations as master. Any HP-UX and SUN O.S.
  8.   combinations are possible. CPL date for version A.02.00 is June 1;
  9.   shipments to follow in August On the HP-UX side the version A.02.00
  10.   will require HP-UX 8.x or 9.x for the master.

  14.   The new product structure that comes with A.02.00 offers higher
  15.   granularity and flexibility, particularly fo price-sensitive
  16.   customers. A modular, conservative growth is possible, yet offering
  17.   the full OpenSpool capabilities at every stage. New evaluation copies
  18.   (opt. AGZ) which are valid for 3 months will also cover SUN
  19.   environments. Site licenses incl. Series 800 multi-user systems as
  20.   well as country company licenses are available.

  24.   In addition to a PC integration via Microsoft's LM/X the integration
  25.   of NOVELL PC networks running Netware/9000 is possible starting
  26.   immediately.

  30.   OpenSpool is currently shipping in a U.S. English, German and Spanish
  31.   language version. A 16-bit Kanji version for the Japanese market is
  32.   close to release with first shipments expected in August. One of
  33.   OpenSpool's Japanese reference customers - Fuji Bank - has so far
  34.   accepted the U.S. English version in appreciation of the many other
  35.   OpenSpool capabilities ...

  39.   OpenSpool is currently based on MIT's Palladium version 1, the
  40.   outcome of a joint cooperation between IBM, DEC, HP and MIT. (Athena
  41.   project) As part of OSF's DME RFT a later version (2) of Palladium
  42.   was submitted by MIT which became selected as the DME print services
  43.   technology. HP is committed to OSF, the DME technology and
  44.   consequently to Palladium version 2 as part of OpenSpool's future
  45.   evolution. Currently OpenSpool represents the only shipping print
  46.   management solution on the market using Palladium technology !
